Monumental Cr Elk Hunts

The name says it all.  It truly is monumental.  It is rugged, steep, intimidating, trail-less, pretty much just the way we like it!  All of our hunts there are spike out only.  We will meet you at one of the trailheads or airstrips, pack up and travel via horses and mules for seven days and then return you to your point of origin.  We generally hunt early season (elk rut).  Hunts are primarily for mature bull elk.  We do see black bear, mule deer and wolves on occasion.  Hunts are designed for 2 hunters at a time.

You do not need to be an Iron Man to enjoy this hunt but you do need to be realistic and have a positive attitude.
Groups of 3 or more and those looking for the classic wall tent camp experience should hunt the Taylor Ranch  Outfitters area.
