RAINA D'ANGELO
Raina was born and raised in an outfitting family and finds herself truly at home on the back of a horse and behind the oars. Turns out she’s pretty great on the other end of a cross-cut saw too! Raina joins us to help in the backcountry, packing horses and mules, clients and gear–you name it, she can pack it. She is a regular during our Women in the Wilderness Retreats, and Fish Camp trips. Raina’s extensive knowledge of wild plants, of native people and cultures, and history of the Frank Church Wilderness is a tremendous value-add to anyone lucky enough to be on her trip. We are also grateful for her trail-clearing expertise and hard work. Raina lives in Challis, Idaho with her husband and two sons–along with their dogs, horses and their amazing native plant nursery.
